Muslim Evangelism

We want to help you build a bridge of love to the Muslims living in your city.

Come join us for a day or more in Sydney, Australia. Each month we have a one day outreach in the Muslim community. We start with an hour of training, then have two hours of visiting Muslim families, followed by an evaluation of our time.

We can also help you start an outreach in your community.

Some days we visit people at their homes; other days in the park. We come as learners, listening to what people have to say about their religion and culture. We often give them the JESUS video or other material to consider.

This year we aim to establish a Homework Club that will help community families with their schoolwork and their English. The purpose of this is to provide an environment for the establishment and building of Gospel-centred friendships.

Training Programme

At each of our monthly outreach days we will consider a variety of different subjects and how they apply to ministry in Auburn in particular and to Muslims in general.

In the months ahead we will be considering:

• Prayer
• Using the Word of God
• Being a genuine friend
• Asking thought provoking questions
• Listening
• Presenting Jesus openly
• Reasoning vs arguing
• Respecting vs accepting other’s beliefs, customs and sensitivities
• Patience

Together we will learn and be equipped for effective ministry

Saturday Outreaches

We have an outreach each month in a Muslim community.

Participants are asked to bring $15 to cover the cost of each outreach ($5 for training materials and $10 for the materials we give away).  Also bring a backpack, your lunch, and a mobile phone (if you have one).

Beginning an outreach in your own area

We can assist you in starting an outreach in your own community. We can give you ideas on where to meet Muslims and how to build a bridge of love to them.

We recommend that you start by joining us in some of our outreaches so we can better equip you to work on your own.
