Jesus said: "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men".  As we follow Jesus, He will give us the skill, wisdom, and power to be effective witnesses.

He also said: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth"(Acts 1:8).
