Have you started your first Discovery Bible Study yet?

I'm trying to start my fourth.  That's not easy for an introvert.

The hardest part is starting my first conversation with a person about God.  After the first conversation the rest are so much easier.

Recently, I stumbled upon a way to open up spiritual conversations with almost anyone:  I tell them what we did at our last Discovery Bible study.

OK.  I am at a housewarming party.  I start off with, "We had a great party Friday night.  The theme was The Ultimate Makeover.  I saw some amazing pictures of people before and after.  One of my friends told a story about a dramatic change.  Can I tell it to you?"

After getting the person's permission,  I launched into the story of Jesus healing the Demoniac.  When I finish he start asking all sorts of questions.

A few minutes later I repeat this process with another person.
